| Java Problems
I know there used to be a Java forum here, but I cannot find it. Mod's, move if you need to, not sure where else to post this.
For some reason, when I run a speed test here on the site, it will not redirect me to the results page... it just says "test completed" and doesn't do anything.
I've updated my java from sun's webpage, but it didn't seem to fix the issue. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for your time. |

| What browser are you using? Are you using a software firewall? Are you sure you're not blocking something?
If memory serves me well, the java applet won't take you to the results page directly. It says TEST COMPLETED and then the button below that field should say something like RESULTS. Is that the case? If so, all you have to do is click results, of course.
The Java forum was closed a while ago. It was decided that the software forum can easily handle what used to belong into the Java forum, and I'd have to agree. Your thread is the first in weeks that I see on Java. That only proves the point of why the Java forum was closed -- IMHO. As always Opera! Trillian |

| reply to MJimLay Thanks guys..
The only popup blocker I am using is the one that's built into SP2.
I'm using Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer.
The only thing is, I'm going through a SQUID server... Maybe that's it?
There's no results butten :-\ |

| reply to MJimLay I'm no longer going through a proxy server anymore... disabled it.
I changed the network settings for java, but still no go. It just sits on this screen even though it says "Redirecting".. The page doesn't go anywhere.. just sits there.
Any other ideas? Thanks again. |
