I had it for a year starting Jan 2004 (shortly after they announced) along with the unbeatable DSL bundle for $25/mo. I suffered 3 months of startup problems on the DSL which made Phonom unusable. But I was eventually credited for the full amount I put at risk so no harm done. I even ported my Verizon phone number.

After startup anomalies, service was golden. My satellite receivers and even my PC modem could dial out; Cavalier allows you to run servers at home since they don't block ports; I got a consistent 6700/820 down/up.

Then I moved and could no longer get DSL from anybody due to 28,000' CO distance. I'm now paying 3X the $$$ for slower speeds. Now where's the emoticon for "crying crocodile tears?"
