You mean, like Verizon currently does (or rather, doesn't) provide? And people excuse their lack of proper service, because the price happens to be lower than some of the competition? ("It's ok, I don't mind throwing money away for barely existant services - as long as its less than the competition!") |

If the telcos could have pushed DSL properly, then they could have killed all other competition in the broadband market. Their failure to do this has resulted in the "quality of service" war now (cable is shared access, DSL is distance sensitive (back and forth.)) |

Most people I know preffer service like yahoo mail. Most people do not use webspace or even know how to. And usenet buhahahahahaa. Anyone that is serious about usenet uses a paid service or an isp that cost more than $15. |
