Just downloaded and installed the new 1.4 SpyBot S&D, Immunized and MSAS came up with a warning about 139.mm.com being added to my IE Trusted Zone. Any ideas on why a Chineese website would be added to my Trusted Zone?
BTW, I have NOTHING in my Trusted Zone.
Any help is greatly appreciated! David |

| It appears to me that MSAS is just doing it's job by preventing 139mm.com from being added to the IE Trusted Zone (unless you accidently click the Allow button ).

 Different machine |
Duplicated results doing the exact same proceedures on second machine... WTF?
Oh yeah, I it on both machines! Question remains, why is Immunize trying to add what looks like the equivelent of a bogus Search site to my Trusted Zone?
No. I do not have any spyware on these machines... trust me. LOL! |

BPremium,MVM join:2000-10-28 | Odd. Is it perhaps just some kind of misinterpretation, and that site is simply being added as 127.0.0.1 in your HOSTS file instead?
Did you get Spybot from a trusted source? Did you verify the checksum?
Have you tried selecting "Allow" (keep your machine off-line), and then seeing whether it was really added to the Trusted zone?

They seem trustworthy. If it was being added to the HOSTS file, why would it need to be in the Trusted Zone? I have no Trusted sites.
This is the Translated site in question(hope the link works): »translate.google.com/translate?u···&ie=UTF8 Site looks too cheesy for anyone to trust.
EDIT: No worries, I Blocked it from being added to my Trusted Zone(still empty ). Thanks to all that responded! David |

The only other things I can think to do are download from other mirrors and do a binary file compare, or try to contact Kolla and/or a support forum.
Did you already check the MD5 hash? According to »www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ it's

It appears to be an MSAS false positive.

KmtnwmnAre We There Yet?Premium join:2003-09-13 NC | reply to dadkins I had MSAS give the alert for 139mm.com trying to be added to the trusted zone also. Googled it and came across the XPtweaks thread and this thread in a search here.
I then updated spybots on another computer on the network and this time MSAS alerted me to "cool.ne.jp" trying to be added to the trusted zone.
nothing was added but thought I would give a heads up that I was expecting 139mm.com as a possible false positive, but got cool.ne.jp on the install on a different system.

 | reply to dadkins I had the same experience and instructed MSAS to block it. It is not in my Trusted Sites. |

 | reply to dadkins I had this problem some time ago. Imo, it's an FP by MSAS. I had a few experts on Wilders helping me with it as well.
On the other hand, I did not get this message with Counterspy, so not sure why the other user here got it. |

PortmonkeyMy watch stoppedPremium join:2004-04-09 Southern IL 1 edit | reply to dadkins I've had a similar problem. When trying to manually enter sites into the restricted zone MS Antispyware would say that site was trying to be placed in the trusted zone and asking if I wanted to block it or not, so of course I blocked it each time, but when I was done I rebooted and seen that none of the sites I typed in were in the Restricted zone. There are no sites listed in my trusted zone. Maybe someone else using MS Antispyware and IE can reproduce this. It's not something I'm really worried about, just more of a curiosity. Edit: I just read the info in the link mentorkyrom posted and while I'm not using Spybot things do make a little more sense now. Perhaps IE-Spyad causes a similar effect as Spybot? -- A dog travels into the future and bites its own tail. When will it feel it? |

 | reply to dadkins I had the same thing happen with Spybot and MSAS. Scary, but after reading up on it, I think it's just a FP from MSAS.
Spybot's Tea Timer and MSAS seem to conflict now and then too. |
