| Highest Theoretical UL speed with 6016/608 package
With the 6016/608 package, what is the highest possible UL with perfect conditions? I've run a 520-530 UL for over a year since the promo began, and now all of the sudden it is running a constant 569.93. The only change in the 5100b stats is the SN Margin went from 12.5 to 15...which I'm guessing is why the UL increased??? I'm 5 miles from the C.O. but very close to the RT (less than 1000 feet I think).
No complaints here, I'm just curious what percentage of UL to expect if/when the 768 UL hits the street. If the same conditions exist (93.75%), then 720 UL should be possible.
Anyway, just curious...and by the way I'd like to thank the SBC folks that frequent the forums for saving me from Cable Broadband Hell...:D I was a beta tester and subsequent customer for a large cable company for years and can't even begin to express how much more reliable and consistant my DSL is over my old cable broadband (even when I was the only person on the cable grid for 1.5 years...:o). And to think I currently pay less for my DSL then the lesser bandwidth cable broadband packages...very cool indeed! |
