Re: They are finished

The problem is that MOST of the market is still about name rather than performance. Far too many people still LOVE AOL, and couldn't name the different browser options to save their lives. Whats that, AOL has their own browser? Well then that must be the best one for me.......

And that is fine with me. I like Active X. I like web exploits. I like security holes.

I'm a paid by the hour computer tech.

This is o true. Most people don't know that there are other browsers besides IE, just the way Microsoft wants it.

Shoot, my mom doesn't even know it's called Interent Explorer. She says things like "I clicked on the Internet icon, but it took me too SmartSearch instead."

Most people don't care that there are other browsers. All they want to do is turn on their pc, get connected to the internet, check e-mail, maybe chat and do some suffering. How it's done is of little concern. It's the same attitude they have at work. I know too many people that only care about doing what they need to with their computer and not how what works. And these are the people you'll never change. And they probably barely know who or what Microsoft is.
