Re: XP SP2 built in firewall settings?

You'll love SP2's ICF no-frills simplicity. It's what I use exclusively.

TIP: A good idea is to make sure every unnecessary Windows service, and unused programs, are disallowed access to the network in ICF configuration.

Check for firewall/browser vulnerabilities with the online scanners assembled at...

If you want to allow access, yes.

@shawcable.net

I just updated my XP Pro SP1 to SP2 and trying out the SP2 built in firewall.

I have both eMule and Shareaza P2Ps and upon starting these two programs, do I just select "Unblock" from the built in SP2 firewall pop up window? and that's it?

Thanks and best regards.
