| reply to ezdsl said by ezdsl :I recently noticed that my BEFSR41 V4 blocks incoming IDENTD requests (TCP Port 113) and could not resolve the problem using port triggering as I had done in the past with an older BEFSR41 V2 router. I called Linksys tech support (after using their LinkChat with two completely clueless techs). The tech I spoke with told me he would e-mail the latest firmware. Still waiting, two days later Yeah. This one is doing that too.. It block port 113, even if you disable the 113 Filter under the security tab, set the machine in the dmz, OR directly forward the port. This appears to be a firmware problem, or even a hardware problem. These problems exist in 1.04.03 as well. I'm attempting to downgrade to 1.04.00, but I'm still on hold. Awaiting a Level 2 tech. Whee!

@rr.com | reply to robertpe I have the same problem... I think the v4 router is causing trouble for my Sipura.
When I try to make outbound calls, it's causing errors like this:
SIP/2.0 400 Content Length is Incorrect (304 vs 300) |

| reply to BryanFord Anyone found it yet? I ust bought this same unit from Newegg for a friend. e has been using and older 8 port Linksys, that I loaned him, with no problems. When I replaced the 8 port router with this 4 port version, no more internet. Checked everything and tried to do the firmware upgrade, but received the same error message. Just about ready to RMA the unit, unless I can find a new firmware for it. -- On error resume next |
