Anyone using TelExtreme? They offer flat monthly fee for unlimited worldwide calling, which sounds like a good deal, but I have not seen anyone mention about it here.

1 edit | There are what, 184 countries in the world? So how do 20 countries (including the US & CN) rate as a "worldwide" service?
1. The $28/month US/CN/HK/UK plan is unique. Not bad if you call the UK or HK from North America.
2. The link given is to the corporate IP where they DO NOT take signups. It says in small print up at the top that you have to signup via a sponsor. Do I smell MLM? I see a "rep" login but it ain't for us consumers.
2. "Build wealth and a lifetime of residual income" on the "opportunity" page. Smells like MLM. "Paid Weekly!" "REVOLUTIONARY Hybrid BINARY PAY PLAN" (confusing, illogical high tech sounding words: MLM tactic).
»www.telextreme.com/-1/payplan.html Read this page and tell me this isn't MLM. All the jargon, words that are meant to impress but don't mean anything (ie: hybrid).
Geez. I never thought VOIP would turn into MLM. MLM schemes rarely serve customers but are just a pyramid scheme to enrich those at the top. Once the pyramid crumbles, so does any possible service that might be in place. I really don't see how this MLM scheme could be a meaningful long term business. Probably they use a re-seller's service and the $200 they want to join as a rep goes to the MLM founder's pocket.
See their other MLM scheme at: »www.bodyextreme.com/ where they hawk "nutritional" products "Join the Wellness Revolution!" They also own this link: »www.purelyexquisite.com/-1/index.html where they also seek "reps" to sell an MLM type pyramid product.
The address and phone number for telextreme.com is also the same address phone number for "Nutri Fun International" »www.helloboise.com/YP/c_HEALTHDI···ORES.Cfm
My God, what a nightmare these people appear to be.
I'm adding a couple of more links of interest:
Their BBB report which isn't bad at all: »www.boise.bbb.org/report.html?co···19002091
and an apology (I think) for spamming by a MLM "rep" from these MLM schemes run by majorconnection.com which appears to be the top corporate name for all of these MLM "opportunities": »www.pahealthsystems.com/archive2···862.html
Apparently, the apology by the MLM rep was for seeking people to join the pyramid below him, not to actually sell the product. This makes sense since selling the product isn't usually what MLMers want, they want to recruit new members below them. |

| Prestonlewis, you took the word just right out of my mouth.
Your post should be framed and handed out to people prior them getting involved with one of these companies (as there are some more already spreading their poison, i.e. grouphone.com or ubifone.com ). |

| reply to zin2 can anyone give you unlimited calls to mobiles for that money ?
No way !!!!
But to pretend this as included and make profit, they can use routes with big time delays so customers don't use it for calls.
When you look closer, you see that they want make money through their pyramid selling.
Its the key that a customer sign in into the reselling program, that costs money each year to keep the reselling alive.
Gosh, what people find out to catch the money from the people !!! Horrible |

This is SPAM you know. Your rep name for this MLM scheme is (removed). Anyone who signs up using your name generates profits for you. The up front fee to sign up for this service is $200, around $240 if you also want to be an MLM rep. That's way more than anyone else charges with most of the cost going to paying you, and the MLM members above you.
So this scheme is good for you Mr. Anonymous Chong, good for the MLM reps above you on your pyramid, and bad for consumers as far as I can see. |
