Server Listings

Ok, I know I am slow at this, but I never had the time to setup outlook or outlook express to handle any mail.

DirectTV's site is not very easy to find out any info, they like playing hide and no info.

What I am looking for is the POP3 servers and the SMTP servers that they use??? I did a search here but could not get anything to come up about these servers addresses. If it helps I signed up back in the days that they called themselves Telocity.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ps. Glad to see we got a moderator. Things were just starting raise there ugly head.

Somewhere around 6/20, new customers would be using the directvinternet.com domain instead of telocity.com ...

This info should be available to you, however.

For your email program, try using "mail.telocity.com" or "mail.directvinternet.com" for the POP3 .. u might be able to use the same thing for the SMPT server, since I believe they resolve to the same address, but if not you would replace the "mail" with "smtp" ..

Thanks it worked.

Edit

SMTP = smtp.telocity.com
POP3 or POP = mail.telocity.com

Only put in your login Id and password.
