| Re: Can anyone still use eMule with Keyon wireles said by Aym :Well, I found a way to get around it for now. So I'll keep using Keyon for a while. It's true that P2P will always be blocked, but newer P2P technology will always overcome it. I do understand why You wany to use PtP and I have no problem with that. You are the one that is responsible for the content that is being shared. If You are doing something illegal?, I guess You can go to confession on Sunday and clear Your conscience?:D . The battle with ISP's(Not just WISP's) and end users over PtP applications will never end. Port blockers are worthless these days, as some of the adaptive PtP applications will just move over to port 80, and then stuff really goes crazy. That doesn't happen on our network, as we use packet technology that "sees" (for lack of better terms) what type of data is using the network and it sees that the same IP's and ports are getting hit with the same data and strings. I am not our linux guru, I am just repeating what my Sys. Admin. has told me?. I guess we will see what happens in the long run? -- »www.wavecrazy.net Join WISPA today! »www.wispa.org/ |
