| Anyone ever encountered SSH freeze with DSLX?
Previously I was using TighVNC viewer to work from home, but nowadays I have to switch to SSH. TighVNC never had any problems with DSLX, however, my SSH session would freeze after probably only 3 minutes of inactivity. I checked with the company IT and there is no timeout on the server end, while other colleagues have no problems using SSH to work from home. But none of them subscribed DSLX service, though.
So did anyone ever tried SSH on DSLX? Did you get any problems at all? Thanks in advance. |

| Thanks for all the response. I think the problem could be in my netgear MR814 router alough I am not 100% sure. I downloaded the latest openSSH (previously I got problem with every SSH client, under windows 98, Windows XP and Linux). Now I can solve the issue but only under Linux. I set the configuration option ServerAliveInterval 60 to let the client request a response every 60 seconds. Thus the freeze problem can be resovled.
However, I don't know how to solve the issue under Windows. |

in options window when it starts in connection set the keep alive to 60 and see if that fixes your problem, putty is for both windows/linux, sourcecode is here:
»the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/lat···8.tar.gz -- Sprint ION = 4650/880 Adelphia = 3300/122, Charter Pipeline = 1540/100 man cable upload sux dont it? And man! my download/upload speed just keeps getting lower and lower doesnt it? Now: DSLExtreme 5400/540 (sustained) finally back up to a great connection |
