| reply to wxboss I still run SpywareGuard.
A question about Teatimer aka Spybot SD resident. I installed it as an admin, but normally run my XP SP2 using a limited account and I see it not running on systray. So it works only with administrator user accounts? |

| reply to wxboss I use MSAS, WinPatrol, Spybot's Tea Timer, SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard together without any problems whatsoever. You will get multiple popup warnings at times, but what if you got some malware that disabled MSAS or WinPatrol or whatever? Wouldn't you want a backup running just incase? That's why I run them together even though there is some overlap in protection. Here's a site explaining what each program protects. »www.dozleng.com/updates/index.ph···edundant |

| reply to wxboss I stopped using spywareguard for a while when I started using ms antispyware. However, I feel as though another layer couldn't hurt much especially since it doesn't slow down my system. Therefore, I'm running it again. I do not run tea-timer though. |

SpywareGuard = smaller footprint (load on memory) than other competing products, including MS Anti-Spyware, Spybot TeaTimer, SpySweeper, etc.
For me, I've reduced the number of real-time protection, and I've only used SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, Spyware Block List, and MVPS Hosts file, along with AVG AV Resident Protection, and I've not had any problems. I am confident that going with this set of programs helps to protect my Windows operating system computers.
Of course, for checks and balances, I do check my systems from time to time with MS Anti-Spyware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE, along with Anti-Trojan proggies, like Ewido, TDS-3, and Trojan Remover. I also check my computers with updated AV programs on a daily basis. -- ionSKY Wireless ISP - 2.4GHz - 802.11b - 1.0MB/384kbps | Dell Dimension 4550/WinXP Pro/SP2/768MB Ram -- Dell Inspiron 5150/WinXP Pro/SP2/512MB Ram |Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5 | NAT Router/Firewall | NETGEAR WGT624v2 Wireless Firewall/Router |

| reply to wxboss I use Spyware Guard along with many other things and all have played well with each other.
