OK, here's the situation: I'm a college student from Boston who attends school in NYC. Last September I signed up for a 400 minute plan with them in NYC. I thought that when I change my billing address to Boston (for when I'm home over the summer), I would start being billed MA taxes, not NY taxes (which come out to about $5.50/month). However, I just got off the phone with Verizon, and I guess I was wrong. In order to be billed MA taxes, I need to change my phone number.
So my question is this: For those of you Bostonians on a 400 minute plan with Verizon ($39.99/month), about how much in taxes/fees do you pay a month? I want to see if it's economical for me to change my number and get billed MA taxes/fees.

4 edits | I'm on the 400 minute, $39.99/month plan. However, I receive a $4.00 credit each month for being on the OneBill plan (having my local & wireless bills sent together) so the taxes I pay would be less then what you'd pay at the full $39.99 rate.
But here's what the get me for at the $35.99/month I pay after my credit;

EDIT: The MA tax rate is 5% but the rest of the taxes (fed,usf, etc) are likely similar to what you pay in NYC
