For those who know Phoenix22...

And are wondering how he is doing, he's on the mend. :):)

I heard from him this AM, he's home from the hospital once more, McCullough chain saw (his words, not mine) took care of his offending arm in one swipe, and now he has the next stage of healing to handle. He's looking forward to the time, hopefully in 6 weeks, to when he can begin start building callus' on his stump and get a prosthesis.

He seemed in his usual good, wise acre mood. He wanted me to let anyone who cared to know that he was fine. He certainly sounded as if he was.

I am sure he will love seeing his old friend. You and he can shoot some BS and both should enjoy the visit.

For those who are curious, he didn't really have an accident. He had cancer and had fought to keep his arm. The big C just wouldn't allow that, so the doc did his thing. The McCullough chain saw comment came directly from the humor and smart arse that Phoenix22 has in helping himself deal with many things. Plus, that's just typical of his whacky personality. Most of us might not refer to amputation as having one's arm buzzed with a chain saw in one, fell swoop, but this guy would and does.

With such a sense of humor and fine spirit he will do well. Tell him he's got prayers and well wishes from those who don't him that well too. BBR is family.

JD better give me a call and let me know how he is JKK. I am also very glad to see you still around. Claire let me know how he was doing over in a post at the TH Forum. Let Phoenix22 know, that I misplaced his phone number after that last beta test crash I had for some unnamed company. Best of luck to both him and you, JKK both being the tough Antispyware Warriors you are.

Thanks for the post JKK. I am going to speak to JD this weekend and will post an update to this thread if appropriate. For those of you that do not know JD do not feel too bad, as he is one tough SOB and this is just another speed bump in a life full of potholes.

PS, HI Jamming.
