I just set up my two home PC's on a Linksys router. Both can surf the internet just fine. How do I get the 2 computers set up to be able to transfer files between them? Do I just run the network wizard in windows? |

| Are they bot windows XP? Just make sure both PCs have the same workgroup name (you can see this in the system properties window, I think its on the "computer name" tab). Then choose folders you want to share and right click , go to properties, go to sharing tab and allow them to be shared.
That should do it. This topic might get more help if moved to a better forum. |

| reply to Ike_69 iek_69, looks like you've got a good start on this. Rather than move the thread now, I'm going to leave it here.
But if you run into problems or have more questions, click the [hey mods] link in your first post and ask to have it moved to the Microsoft Help forum. -- then think again! |
