QoS?

the QoS you speak of is only provided on your LAN by that Linksys device. It does not do DSCP or any other type of QoS from the cable modem up to the CMTS or even on the Internet.

So, that would explain why your thought process is a little off.

You are right, that Comcast is over sold in your area and it's time to do a node split for your area. Good luck with that.
