With things on their product line like "Repair My MS Backup (BKF)" going for 150 dollars, I'm going to go with a gut answer of no.

The MSBSA is the only consumer-level "security analyzer" other than port scanners or leak testers anyone should ever need.

Thanks for those analyzer web sites... Though I guess we can't compare it with MSBSA because this tool intends to disable some microsoft services among other things. Also guess this computer security tool costs around 29 dollars...

Does it do anything else we can link you to?

edit: after seeing the product page, I realize it does do quite a bit more than I assumed it did.

But all of these things are basically registry tweaks and things you can do with the basic Windows GUI or a free application.

Oh yes Fiction!! Now I see your point of view. I'll keep those helpful links. Right you are. I'd Better do things the safest way. Much obliged for saving me 29 bucks. Sorry for the late reply. The fact is that it has been a very hot day in here. Couldn't resist a day on the beach. All the best for ya!!

I use the Computer Security Tool from www.comutersecuritytool.com and thinks it is good value. Yes, your could probably spend a good day collecting free programs and tweaks that may (or may not) do the same 60 security checks that this program does, and then run 4 or 5 different programs at once to acheive the same results. With the Computer Security Tool you can do comprehinsive custom changes in less than 10 minutes. You can aslo save a load a custom profile, say if you move you laptop between office and home. If you are serious about computer security then $27 is not a big investment. If you ask me, they dont charge enough for it.
