I'm sure I read somewhere that Look 'n' Stop has .dll injection protection, but I might be wrong on that one.

I already did the trial version of PG and was going to buy it but my wife pretty much put a stop to me. She took my Credit Cards and she goes with me to the bank. I have an freeze on my assists now until further notice (hyer words). Thanks why I was lookin g for a free program for now.
Sounds as if you have a few more problems than simply worrying about suspicious DLLs.

AB will not directly stop dll injection. What it will do is prevent dll injections by stopping the offending program (malware) before it has the chance to run to begin with. Of course if you let the program (malware) run, not knowing what your doing, it's basically game over.

It appears that AP does not stop dll injection, but it will stop dll injection by preventing the program (malware) from running to begin with, that would be doing the injecting. So it's not directly stopping the dll injection, but still will stop it from occurring. Of course if you allow the program (malware) to run it's game over.

Yes, PG is pay, but there is a free trial version. It is limited, but you can test it out, use it for a while and if you like it, buy the purchased version.

The free trial does not include DLL injection blocking, but the reason you might want to try it is so that way you can see the ease of use that PG offers.

A comparison of the free trial and full version is on the download site:

Well it was already suggested that you try an older version of SSM. Many slightly older versions work very well, won't freeze your computer, and don't have an expiration.

Also doesn't Abtrusion Protector (also free) protect against dll injection?

SSM freezes my computer. I can't buy PG yet. I wanted something free. Guess I'll keep sygate until I find something.

PG & SSM are two very well made applications that do what you wanted. SSM is geared more towards a veteran while PG is geared more towards the novice.

ProcessGuard blocks DLL injection. Not in a firewall way, but instead system-wide. Isn't PG what you're looking for ?

I want something that will block them if I don't know what they are or if they aren't needed.

no, process explorer won't block them. it will only list those loaded.

Will this also block the DLLS if I don't want them to load?

I know Kerio 2.15 don't do that. That's why I asked about a separate program that will do that.

Well, Kerio 2.1.5 doesn't do that, if it did, we probably might have mentioned it. It does protect from exe injection, though.

I know Kerio4.2.0 does but that's a bloated firewall. I want to use Kerio 2.15.
