| Re: Firewire PCMCIA Card + Ti chipset i have been using a noname card with Ti chipset to transfer video from dv. works great even though it is noname although i had to follow instructions to use the microsoft driver not the ti driver provided otherwise the transfer was not good.
if the card is for pro audio i can imagine that it is for an external audio interface. you might want to find out what model they will be connecting and then google for some info on audio forums for what does/doesnt work with that unit. thats basically why they want Ti chipsets cos some interfaces hate nec/via chipsets.
especially if you are gonna be installing the card and in pro audio setups, nothing less than perfect transfer is gonna be acceptable, need to research a bit so you dont have some driver issue or something.... -- »www.techmati.com Reviews of IT / Rackmount Equipment and Megayacht Photos. »www.badcaps.net/forum - Badcaps Motherboard Repair Forums |
