Re: [RI] RI Speed increases?

I really did not take notice of the speeds until I received one of the computer phone calls from cox. GREAT! The up-load increase sure helps me out,

Thank You COX!

I wonder if they are planning to do anything with their CT markets?

If FiOS is available there, then you will probably see something, while the rest of us sit around and wonder if we will ever see those speeds. :D

UPDATE: RI Speed increases?

There are more cities that have been upgraded:

Now: faster than ever in:
Warwick
South Kingstown
West Warwick
North Kingstown
East Greenwich E
xeter
Portsmouth
Narragansett
Little Compton
Jamestown
Tiverton
Newport
Middletown
Bristol County

Now I know other areas went up as well. The Burriville area has also been increased from what a Cox employee told me. I know its not on the page but it went 15/2 on 6/29/05.

What routers are people using to use these speeds?

I'm looking at the Cisco 871 personally

Now this is a nice connection.... It would have been nice if they gave us 5 MBit up but I will settle with this.
