Whatever Vonage can do to last a little longer I am all for. I am just trying to enjoy the ride before some giant telco comes along and buys them up. (doubling rates at the same time) |

Vonage is not a telephone company, it is considered a data company and the FCC does not have any control over it. Hmm, under Vonage logo it says "Broadband Phone Company". Apparently anyone that can terminate calls into regular phone network is considered a phone company.

Of course, if you bothered to check the VOIP forum or did a simple google search you would know it. |
