vlc has been the best video player i've had for the past year or so kudos to google for picking the best media player out there

well considering that plugin is released under GPL »code.google.com/patches.html
nobody should be "checkenshit" to modify it.
nor can there possibly be any repercussions to his modifications since they are perfectly valid and legal under GPL license.
