And no one seems to have any record of where the USF dollars go; from what I can gather the telco is the party that decides where that cash ends up. Of course we can trust that it's ALL going to rural POTS service, right?

Hey Gus I know politics. There are plenty way government beat around the bush in raising taxes. One-way is not to call it a tax but a fee.
