Does anyone know if the 2WIRE 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter will connect a Mac G4 with a 2WIRE wireless network?

Thanks for the sage advice, but I don't particularly want to buy one if it isn't going to work....

Re: 2Wire 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter and Macinto

According to www.2wire.com, no. At the very least it's not supported.

Airport (Extreme) card would fit your bill. There are other options out there: Belkin makes a USB adapter. Also seems to be the only one I can find with OS X support. Probably some PCI ccards out there you could use, but you can probably find an Airport card on eBay for a decent price. Techrestore.com has them for $79.99 - Coupon code "CODE" from Dealmac gets you $15 off. Not sure if it's still valid, though.

There's other options out there for wireless, but I seriously recommend against usb for networking.
