Does anyone know if the 2WIRE 802.11g USB Wireless Adapter will connect a Mac G4 with a 2WIRE wireless network?

According to www.2wire.com, no. At the very least it's not supported.
Airport (Extreme) card would fit your bill. There are other options out there: Belkin makes a USB adapter. Also seems to be the only one I can find with OS X support. Probably some PCI ccards out there you could use, but you can probably find an Airport card on eBay for a decent price. Techrestore.com has them for $79.99 - Coupon code "CODE" from Dealmac gets you $15 off. Not sure if it's still valid, though.
There's other options out there for wireless, but I seriously recommend against usb for networking. -- When the ship sets sail, all bills are paid. No regrets. |
