Worse, I had a Nortel modem for nearly five years, the last two of which were after they started offering DSLAM service. In addition to forcing people to continue to pay rent for what was clearly obsolete technology, Bell also "forgot" to notify us that a "free" speed upgade was available. So not only was I not getting the benefits of the "upgrade insurance" that Deadpool refers to, I was actually paying regular price for less than half the speed that more recent (i.e. less loyal) customers were getting. |
