 Original | Zombie |
I was hoping someone could give me some tips to make this look more professional.
I am definetly an amateur at photoshop and want to get really good at it.
I want to make Britney Spears looks like a zombie. Don't ask why, I just chose a random celebrity.
What can I do to this image to improve it? Anyone here have some tips/secrets for me? Also anyone here have some links to tutorials for I can "make some new animals" like some photoshops have been? Like the famous one of the elephant with zebra stripes and stuff? lol. -- :/ |

| reply to 35375105 For me, it's the teeth that are thwowing it off. I think if you take a look at some other zombie movie screen caps you can come up with a more "realistic" look for zombie teeth. They look too much liek glow in the dark chompers pasted on her face. Otherwise, looking good. Especially the eyes. |

| Yeah I agree. I think the thing that's getting me is the lack of an upper lip, the area below the nose just looks too flat. But other than that it's really good, you've kept it pretty realistic, as far as zombies go, that is. -- The Fanta Penguin says FANTA FANTA |

| reply to 35375105 I liked the other mouth better, but lose some of the teeth, and add a partial.
On the skin, clumps should be taken out, not just peeling - same with the hair. Zombies are supposed to be rotting and having things falling off in clumps.
I also liked the last eye better. -- Some people think they gain through dishonest means, never realizing that in lying, cheating, and other dishonesty, they are losing pieces of themselves, which they can never recover. SPECIAL |

| reply to 35375105 I like this eye better (looks less full of life), as well as the mouth. Though I agree, missing teeth are neccesary and it seems the facial structure isn't "right" for the posititon of the mouth (something with the cheek bones not meshing imo)
Looking good .. or I should say.. better. Are you creating all these effects yourself or "scalping" them from other images and blending them in. If the latter, I'd love some detail on the skin.. especially the scaring. Looks good. |

I then took a skull from another image and blended it in to form the eye sockets, nose, and skull. To blend it (and the things below) in, I used layer masks, the clone stamp, and the healing brush tools.
I used the clone stamp to get rid of her eyebrows.
Then I took some scars from another image also, and blended those in. Same with the mouth and open-wounds.
I then using the Burn/Dodge brushes burned her skin and lightened it in random places until it looked good.
Then I desaturated and lightened her eye.
Then cut out the background and added the flames.
Then did the "render lighting effects" filter to finalize the image. -- :/ |

I am aiming to make her look like a zombie but not like a totally different person. -- :/ |
