| Re: GIMP 2.2.6 Colour changing ok, here. I do it a little different from most people. I'm also using 2.0 but it is probably the same for 2.2.6
1.take original picture, duplicate the layer.
2. hide the background layer (the first layer)
3. take your eraser and erase everything that isn't the case
4. go to tools>color tools>hue/saturation
I just set the saturation and lightness at -100 and thought it looked alright
click ok and show all layers and tada, a black case
