| Asterisk@Home Sunrocket and outage
I recently, for fun, installed asterisk@home on an old computer. I put in a couple of cheap digium cards, and hooked up BVD Sunrocket and verizon. I setup my first outgoing truck to be Sunrocket. During the outage, outgoing calls did not work since asterisk dialed the number not knowing that Sunrocket was dead. This has brought me dangerously close to failing the wife test. :-(
Does anyone know of a way to have asterisk check if the line is alive before dialing? and if it is dead move on to the next one?
I also would love to hook Sunrocket up directly without the modem card. Anyone know if they give you the account information to do this?
