join:2003-01-17 | WOAH, Best EA Bug ever found... BY ME! Wow... Something is messed up... I for some odd reason have all the unlocks on my account even though I'm still a Lance Corporal. I just got on the BBR Ranked Server, and I'm like, "Um... why are all the unlocks available for me to use?"
I tried all of the unlocks and they all work for some really REALLY strange reason. I get off the server, go into another one, and I can STILL use them. What do I do? Do I contact EA? I'm scared my account is going to get banned because of this, something screwed up with my profile yesterday, so I deleted it from the account login screen, retrieved it and that's it. What do I do now??

I had read on the Planet BF2 forum last week that someone had figured out a way to unlock kits regardless of rank. They claim to be able to do this trick for anyone without the need of your account info. All they needed was your BF2 nick. I didnt read too much on it but maybe thats how it happened? |

What's the big deal with weapon unlocks… can't you just play on a non-ranked server and use any weapon of your choice without the need to speed countless hours becoming super l337 so you can unlock your next weapon?
In any case, it's probably a temporary bug and you'll eventually be back to your normal weapons. However, to be on the safe side you might want to stay away from playing on the official EA/Zboard/Nvidia ranked servers as they're monitored by official admins. So if some one catches on to the fact that you're spawning with new unlocked weapons ever time and your only a Lance Corporal… might draw the attention of an admin and lead to a possible kick/ban.

Lol, I closed the game, deleted my account again, and I login, and the unlocks are STILL there. I don't get this game... but this is the first bug that I actually enjoy

Didn't someone post something about a rank bug that caused some guy to get a six-digit rank? The guy reported the bug to EA and they reset his account to zero with no other contact. (Was that here? I don't have time to hunt it down right now.)

Quick weapon unlock question. I got my promotion yesterday afternoon to pfc, but last night none of the new weapons were available to me on the online servers (unless the graphic does not change).
Is there something else I should be doing, or is this like the magic bbr server that I am unable to locate or connect to and "working as intended"?
