I'm curious to know how this applies to current AOL subscribers. I have both RR and AOL right now... Had AOL since the early 90's and switched to their "bring your own ISP" plan ($14.95/mo) when we went to SBC DSL in 2000. Now I've switched to RR a few months ago and still pay for the AOL...

Russ
Well now you'll be saving $14.95 a month.. I am not sure what they do with exsisting users.. They did ask me like 3 times if I was an exsisting user.. which I wasnt (so I wouldnt know sorry).

To the other people wondering:
Let me clear this up for the others that are still confused..

If you have roadrunner.. you can now use AOL for free after following the steps above..
No AOL doesn't take over your connection and require you to start-up and/or use their software in anyway. Yes you still keep your roadrunner email address. Think of it as AIM. Use it when you want.. Close it when you don't. Roadrunner will still work the same as it always has..
