I just noticed this, seeing "Shared" on my WAN (wireless access network) kind of brought up some security questions, which is, how do i UNSHARE this and this other pic shows both my friends still available to access (but obviously won't access), how do I get rid of them?

"WAN (wireless access network)"

Actually it's WLAN - Wireless Local-Area Network
»www.webopedia.com/TERM/W/WLAN.html

WAN = Wide-Area Network (i.e., Internet)

Have you setup security on your wireless network? It is a security risk if you do not have proper security setup.

Turn off file and printer sharing -OR- set a password for the Windows XP user account you are logging in as and create a workgroup, only allowing you or authenticated users to access file and printer sharing.

Enable security in your Wireless router (preferably WAP-PSK, if not able, then WEP, with strong random pass phrase, and also assigning a strong password to your router admin console, go to the WIRELESS SECURITY forum for assistance).

Yeah I have a 256bit WPA setup on my wireless router, so I'm good for that one.

before you can run, you need to walk, correctly, stumbling around basic concepts like technological definitions is poor form to say the least.

I'll think twice about helping someone like you.

Best of luck.
