FWIW, according to the Verizon Online DSL FAQ here at BBR, Verizon (in the former Bell Atlantic region) uses the Westell InfoSpeed DSL modem.
So, it makes my hope / concern to keep and re-use the Broadxent 8012U "AOL" DSL modem moot, I guess.
Seems *another* $99 has to be thrown Verizon's way.
I'm sure it makes support easier for Verizon!
