I own a small ISP, but growing pretty rapidly.
I am thinking about investing in Postini (scans for email/virus at the server level), does anyone here have access to it, and if you do, do you like it and use it?

| reply to ISDNISP I have Comporium Internet service here and they use Postini (McAfee-based).
Excellent (free) service, on my end, anyway.
Haven't had a single virus get through on my email since I got it (which doesn't leave my A/V a whole lot to do). Sends you a message like this when something gets blocked:
"Dear spy1@comporium.net,
Comporium Communications's Mail Filter service has detected a potential e-mail virus. This suspicious message has been quarantined in your Message Center:
From: administrator@comporium.net Subject: YOUR NEW ACCOUNT PASSWORD IS APPROVED Virus: Generic Malware.a!zip
To read, deliver, or delete the message without infecting your computer, go to:
messagecenter.internettoolkit.net/(Blanked out by me)
Thank You!
Comporium Communications"
I consider it outstanding for what it does. Pete |
