I feel kinda dumb but how do I find out my dhcp server...

Ive got a router and it shows nothing in dhcp, I know via ipconfig /all on my pc it shows my router as the dchp server, so would the dhcp server on my router be the default gateway, if so I get...

Unfortunately, most routers do not tell you what the ISP's dhcp server address is. You will have to temporarily remove the router.

You would have to login to your router itself. There should be a page you can access which will show your TCP/IP settings and the DHCP server IP's you are using.

To Klownicle,

You have to disconnect the router and connect the modem directly to NIC to get the actual dhcp server address in using ipconfig/all command.
