Well I just got home from a 5-1/2 hour chemothon and so far so good!! I am praying and keeping positive thoughts that I will not have any side effects. I go back next Wednesday for the same thing as long as my white blood cells are okay. I have so much reading material between the Radiologist and my Oncologist that I will be busy reading up on this as much as I can as you can never know too much. I learned something very important today that will help me next time: I will be shaving the top of my hand;) where the IV goes as it seems that getting the tape off all the hair afterwards is more painful than the insertion of the IV itself!! Thanks to one and all for your continued support and Mojo!!:):) |
