The reason it's set to automatically obtain through dhcp and not openly posted is to keep people using the most appropriate servers for their local areas.
So then a FAQ stating the following would be appropriate?

reply to nozero That would be a good FAQ post. If an IP adddress changed for a dns server (granted that happens rarely - but it does happen), the engineers would not typically notify residential customers because they should be pulling this information via DHCP.
