Maybe a wood laminate(very thin but strong), or some type of fiberglass, both of them painted white. You could even make Your own with the same material that they make casts for medical problems. The problem is, I don't know where to get it?. Maybe an automobile repair shop that does body work?.

Why not metal? Just curious? We used metal - it is prolly 4 inches above our enclosure. I think I have some pics. I will try to get them posted tomorrow.
