| Nice! Reminder for Sparkle "Unlike the other xero plugins, this one uses a configuration file called default.spk, which must be present in the same directory as the filter itself. To install the plugin, copy both sparkles.8bf and default.spk to you host's plugins directory. If the filter reports that the configuration file is missing when you run it, please make sure that the default.spk file is in the same directory!"

Useful stuff.

| reply to dandelion Some nice proggies here:
I like the main program, PhotoFiltre, which is a cool image editor/retouching app aimed at fairly novice types, but has nice stuff including a large number of plugins and vector masking, etc..
And the only non-Java "lake" effects I know of for ani-GIF, called Reflet.
Also:
PhotoMosaic facilitates very easy and fast creation of picture mosaics.
Scrutico allows to scan a directory to extract all icons present on your computer in the form of files (ICO) or of resources (EXE, DLL, ICL). Then, it makes it possible to export them to format ICO, BMP, GIF transparent, TIFF or Targa.
Visioimg seems to make custom slideshows, and has themes.
PhotoFiltre seems to be Freeware, although it says "PhotoFiltre is free for a private, non commercial or educational use (including non-profit organizations). In this case, registration is not necessary. But commercial or professional use requires a registration."
Fun.

| Thanks Dandy, I didn't think I was supposed to post new stuff in a month+ old thread. Got all the fun warnings, so I made a new post.
Perhaps this thread should be stickied?

Guess if no one adds to the thread for awhile, will be hard to post- think after a certain time they lock, but I'll bet tiggerstales could help in that case . |
