| Ok manual update no difference. I even updated Live Update to v2.7.34. The Symantec Anti Virus Corporate Edition I am running is v10.0.1.1000
I manage to get screenshot of the error. It only happens when I shutdown the system or reboot it. The antivirus has no problems scanning for viruses or anything. This occurs only during shutdown or reboot. It will pop up for 1 sec or so before shutdown.

| If all you're getting is this "End Program" dialog box, I wouldn't worry. It looks like the application that detects missing definitions is taking a little while to shutdown, so, you get this notice from Windows, but, within that 1 to 1 1/2 seconds it does shut down. |

| reply to purelander I am having the same issue on my new system - as of yet I have not figured out a solution to make it stop doing that. |

I wonder if it is somehow related to LU being enabled. Have you tried disabling LU and rebooting a few times to see if it still occurs? just grasping at straws -- Write your questions down on the back of a $20 dollar bill and send them to me |

| Since this is Corporate Edition, is it perhaps just looking for its "parent server" back at school and failing to find definitions on it?
There's also a NAVCE config file that you can reset for LiveUpdate issues; sorry don't recall the name. There was a separate managment utility for this a few years ago.
