[General] Linksys BEFW11S4 V. 4 Router Connectivity Issues

I have tried multiple firmware flashes with this router also different Cat 5 cables and nothing solves my problem that I am having. When it is time for the router to renew it's ip address it will lose connectivity and I have to unplug the router for 30 seconds and then plug it back in to get the router to renew it's ip address. I am currently running the 1.52.10 firmware and am about at the end of my nerves. Any suggestions or preset configuration files would be greatly appreciated.

Roll back to firmware 1.50.x that seems to be the most stable from what I heard around here.

Does anyone have this firmware? I have the same problem, and can't seem to find the older firmware on the new linksys website.

I just did that. It helps but I still get ping timeouts like a mofo on irc. I think my next router is gonna be a D-link.
