said by NY Tel :Guys.....I'm telling you, Mike is playing us for fools by getting us to engage in this argument with and about him. Some sort of vicarious thrill I guess. I agree, we need to end this.
Even if mike isn't messing with us (I hope he is because if not he needs to see a doctor.... actually even if he is he still needs to see a doctor because he has to much free time.)
This thread is NOT going anywhere!!
I advise anyone who agrees with me to click the hey mods button on one of his posts. |

| reply to comcastperson ss4vegito7, I agree, Mike obviously is not listening to what all of us are saying, and seems to be in his own little world. I mean the questions are just horrendous for one applying for a job at comcast, I mean you would think that someone would be better prepared than that. Some serious job skills need to be reevaluated. |

| reply to NY Tel From a few ims with him, he does seem to have a good bit of the info correct, and i will say..i've had 2 friends completely blow it trying to get into comcast. when i went for testing at comcast, i knew before i left the building what my start date would be, what building to report to...then a week later i got a phone call from HR with all of the same info. |

| reply to mikedz4 You really like the atmosphere of a call-center? I always thought of it as just a job. I was willing to put effort into it, but once my 8 hours was over then work was the last thing I wanted to think about. If you are online for so long everyday, you probably wouldn't last long at a call center. Most places watch their employees like a hawk to see if they are just surfing the internet and not doing anything else. |

Did it ever occur to you that part of the weeding out process is to pass over those that don't take the time to GET this info when they take the test? I mean, you didn't even know what you were testing for! Will you get the job? Who knows! Some places like callbacks to show you really WANT it, others don't like that because it makes you seem desperate just to get a job, putting the focus on you and not the company..... You also have to realize you weren't the only person to take that test and do well....... |
