what about cingular and verizon? I have verizon service and my parents have cingular both are family plans.

Verizon, yes, Cingular I don't know. But from what I have read their corporate discounts suck. But to get the discount with any company the account will have to be in your name. So your parents won't get the discount unless they change it over to your name.
