well I was actually shooting for desktop environment here I figure I will post a will post a window manager poll next. From what I understand there are some other desktop environment 's out there but these are the two mist popular. |

IMO, KDE looks MUCH more like MS Windows than WindowMaker does.
And if you're on such a Crusade to remove the word "Window" from your system, you might as well remove the XFree86 implementation of the X Window System. -- There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots. |

I have never had a beef with the feel of windoze, I actually found it quite functional. It was the constant rebooting and crashing that led me to Linux and I am quite content with KDE's replication of the windoze environment, even more so then with windoze.
P.S. IMO enlightenment nextstep and some others try to hard to not be like windoze, that it makes things worse then constant crashes. -- Best word ever! |
