| Let's start by properly naming it a 1898 Morgan.
Most likely circulated, but he never stated that. Could be MS...
Even if it's circulated, you don't know which mint it came out of or what condition it's in.
Example of EF: 1898 S = 59.00 1898 P = 25.00 1898 O = 25.00 -- Write me up for doing 125....... |

1 edit | reply to aguynamedavi 1898 circulated is only worth about 7-10 dollars. Saying "circulated" is like saying "used car".
For example, a "circulated" 1806 half cent can be worth anywhere from $75 to $10,000.
Where is your coin company? If you price all your items like that, I'll be there in a few minutes with a fistful of cash.;) |

Ok, this is kinda cool. I picked up some coins tonight from a client. (We do eBay coin consignment) Guess what was in this collection? A pretty nice toned AU 1898 Morgan. It will be listed on eBay tomorrow evening, so if anyone wants to see what it goes for, I'll post the link here once its listed. |

| reply to bobby131313 We are wholesalers
i dont know of any coin company that will give a circulated 1898 morgan dollar (im talking about if it is a common mint mark) price value more than 7 times face (which is about the price of silver per ounce right now).
Good luck. -- MY Forum http://www.mainstreamtopics.com/forums |

I've always known those pieces of hair between the hair line and eye & above ear as the "hair wisp", which are the areas to wear first. Correct!
