I have the same Issue. I've just replaced a WRT54G with the SRX model.
I have a windows 2003 server setup as a VPN server, with the old router the VPN was fine, after swapping the router my clients now time out at the "Verifying Username & Password" screen.
I went through it with Linksys and they now believe the problem is in the Firmware (I have the current latest - 1.02.06).
All linksys sould tell me was to keep checking for updated firmware.

| I too having the same issue with this POS, have been trying for weeks now and still not able to get VPN to work, VPN will work just fine with a netgear router, so i know is not me or my network... I feel that Linksys should get their A$$ togther to fix this issue or recall their product or something... i paid 275 dollor plus tax from office max. what a POS.. |

| Well I do feel a little better now that I know that its not something I did, since there are others having the same problem, it would have been nice if live chat had this information.
Did anyone get a time frame from Linksys for the new Firmware release?
