 Recording 2 shows while viewing a previous one

Will this machine let you record 2 things at the same time and watch a previously recorded item at the same time? My WOW dvr does that and so did the Time Warner one I had...the SA 8300 model.

I am debating switching to Insight from WOW because they have a better variety of channels and more HD channels. Any opinions about this? At least in the Columbus, OH area?
