sick to death of g520 freezing

i've read all the posts, tried all the drivers, atheros and clients, and it still randomly freezes. i have no problems with my slower usb dlink dwl122 but the dwl-g520 rev5 drives me nuts. i've come to my wit's end.

can anyone recommend another brand/card/model that runs well and doesn't freeze?

Because you are having these problems, I would recommend a card that does not use an Atheros chipset. You'll find that many of Atheros-based PCI cards are the same in both hardware and software. Most Atheros-based cards, by any vendor, advertise a 108 Mbps capability.

I personally have no problems with these, but "sick to death" means you're done trying to fix it -- so it's right to move on.

i'm going to try atheros chipset usb dwlg132. i wonder if that freezes.
