Well if you live in sarasota, fl you've relized work has finally started, FiOS is being advertised in the paper (I got a 8x10 thing in the sunday paper I belive that says FiOS is here. Knowing what FiOS is and when it is seen coming. I live in kengsington park and verizon has marked off with flags 3 lines at the start of each entrence in the residental area. So this shows for sure im getting it. But my addition to this news is that I called verizon just for kicks, the number on the paper. And I was told sarasota looks to be ready end of this year or december.
The lady I was talking to said someone she knew someone that lived really close to me, was told december (weather it be installed by december or lit up by december). She said I would be given a call when the order is ready to be put through.

FYI, I live in Deerfield just east of I-75 off of Porter Road. Hopefully, it will be coming out way, soon, too!

I can't wait too. I have already got 3 flyers in the mail adertising that FIOS is here, I haven't called Verizon yet, but plan too just out of curiosity.
They have been diging here, off lockwood south of university for the past few weeks. Today when going to school I saw what looker like a fiber splicing truck at the corner of tuttle and desoto  .
It will be great if it will be here before 2006. A good christmas present  |

"the corner of tuttle and desoto " that house was built and pre lit with fios :-/. I think there splicing into that built fios line to expand the line. |

| I don't know if it was pre lit or not, it is the one with the huge fence around it that was recently reconstructed. They seemed to be doing some kind of underground work, probably splicing fiber, but I am not sure.
The crues that are laying the conduit seem to be getting closer to my neighborhood and maybe soon they will be here.
I was thinking if the first moth is free when you order online then I cold sign up to the 30/5 package and then change before the end of the month to the 15/2 and experience the best speed for and entire month  . Am I correct on this? |
