Well if cable companies can sell tv, internet and VOIP, then phone companies should be able to do the same.

If I want to buy a TV, I go buy it at Ken Crane's Home Entertainment store not a Phone Company!

Um, this is about television service, not television brands.

Re: Gee I dunno

Are you the Verizon FIOS spamvertizer for broadband articles now?

First the "DSL Deals that aren't", now this one?

You had me up until MSN Premium Internet Software

Now, I think I will pass. Speed is nice but I do not want anything to do with MSN even if it is fast.

You don't have to install it if you don't like it. It's that easy.

Oh, well then ok. I thought it was like the Qwest DSL (Powered by MSN) around here where MSN is the ISP and you are locked into using their software.

Re: Gee I dunno

Yeah you don't have to install it and use it if you don't want to, it simply gives you all the premium services of msn. I think that in some areas you can get yahoo instead of msn.

Re: Gee I dunno

FIOS TV will not take up your internet bandwidth. It will use a different wavelenght to send the video signal completely seperate from the data and voice over the fiber.

Absolutely. Comcast's pricing and pace of technology improvements only make shareholders happy and customers pissed off. I'll wave goodbye as fast as Fios becomes available.
